Let the classes begin....

Hi all! i hope everyone is doing well. Im quite fine hanging out in an internet cafe hopefully for the last time because tomorrow i get my password to finally get on the computers at school. so no more paying like 2 euro for a half an hour or something absurd like that. yesterday consisted of some shopping, nothing exciting i got slippers, ketchup, and milk. and of course my boys played. thank god i found a pub that shows the games. they played ok, could have done better but they won and thats all that mattered..o and the cowboys lost so its a good weekend all around. let me just say though the games here suck. th picture kept going out so we would miss whole drives. like i missed most of the 4th quarter with the exception of the final 2 mins, which was the important part. so it all worked out. more exciting than that those is while we were watching the game, some eagles fans came in and i asked them where they were from, guess where...philly...they attend st.joes. so it was nice to talk to people who were somewhat familar. this next statement is for all masquies...guess where there favorite place was....lynarch! so we talked about the new managment and our favorite things to get there. it was very exciting.
in less exciting news classes began today. i attended calculus II which all he did was introduce himself so it was like 10 mins. and then i went to a history course that doesnt actually start till tomorrow and then in about 45 mins(5 here time) i have an english class. something on genres and there history, shouldnt be that bad. cool thing here though is classes are only 2 hours a week. and i dont have any thursday or friday...so i will be traveling!!! the classes dont sound that hard...i would just prefer not to sit in them. however this school is like 4500000 times bigger then lasalle and i got soooooooo lost like seriously lost. so confusing. but whatev i'll survive. ok i think i will head out now cuz i dont knw how much this costing me and i only have 5 euro. miss you kids lots!

after reading your last posts:

a.) aren't accents delicious? after getting to australia I was like -- can you all just sit here and read the phone book to me?
or possibly the manual that explains cricket?

b.) you arent crazy -- i always felt like mcdonalds tasted completely different in every country i tried them in.... i think they actually use real meat outside the US. if no one else agrees on this - well, we can be crazy together on that point.

I'm really glad I helped you feel a bit more excited -- it sounds as if you're getting in some exploring already!
Keep the fun observations coming!

Ahhh you're such a jetsetter. Jealous. Send me postcards from the places you travel! I'll add them to my collection. Or, if you're poor, wait until you get home and save the postage. ;)

amy's totally right about the mcdonalds, it does taste different in each country

you would be proud of me, i've been watching the eagles games, haven't missed one since i got home - i guess i've become a fan - i mean with you out of the country, someone's gotta cheer in your place, right? :)

(and the correct spelling is llanerch)
